Grammy Awards 2014 berlangsung meriah. Tanpa disangka, Royals milik Lorde terpilih sebagai Song of The Year, mengalahkan para seniornya, seperti Roar milik Katy Perry. “To be here now in this room with so many legends and people whose work I admire is an honor.”

“I probably wouldn’t be here if Joel wasn’t here,...Thank you everyone who has let this song explode, because it’s been mental.”

Grup musik Pop Electronic asal Prancis, Daft Punk juga menorehkan kemenangan besar diaman ia membawa pulang sebanyak lima penghargaan termasuk diantaranya Record of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group, Album of the Year, Best Dance/Electronica Album, dan Best Engineered Album, Non-Classic.
